How we add value to founders:
Every year, we host 20+ events with over 350 people. The events range from invite-only roundtables and community meet-ups, to open-attendance seminars and workshops.
We also organise an annual sports day for our portfolio operators and a retreat for our founders, including a curated selection of motivational speakers and hands-on workshops.
With two decades of experience, we have seen most operational challenges that start-ups face. We provide playbooks and guides to support you with your journey, on topics including hiring, GTM, product, marketing and culture.
We can also provide tailored advice and guidance. Whether you want to define your GTM strategy or refine your OKRs and reporting process, we can help create a roadmap for your next growth phase.
Many early-stage companies are too small to offer coaching and mentoring to their employees, so we have stepped in to offer portfolio leadership teams free access to a world-renowned coaching programme.
We have also created a repository of 60+ vendor relationships, including discounts and deals available exclusively to the MMC portfolio. To date, we estimate that we have helped founders save over $7m.
To set up founders for success, we aim to actively create opportunities through sales introductions. Several of our portfolio companies have said that MMC is among the top generators of sales prospects.
Our proactive engagement with our portfolio sales team has seen 10% of one of company’s customer base being attributed to MMC introductions.
Our efforts extend beyond introductions, we also provide ongoing support through monthly calls, onboarding and partnerships.
We continuously support our portfolio companies in improving their sustainability practices and processes.
To us, environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors are not meant to be obstacles – instead, they are encouragements to be the best employer, combine profit and purpose, adopt best practices and behave ethically.
We support our portfolio by providing a portal of policies and information, as well as providing access to ESG_VC.
It is difficult to scale your business without the right team. We support our portfolio with recruitment, hiring, culture, DEI and other people-oriented efforts. We have also created a library of HR templates and policies, available on MMC’s portfolio resource area.
