Outside of venture, Charlotte is a keen runner and skier. She was a UK female freestyle skiing champion in slopestyle and half pipe and has completed several marathons.

PrincipalCharlotte is excited by the potential of technology to dramatically change the landscape of global healthcare. Her key areas of interest lie in how new technologies, leveraging cutting-edge data and medical science, can improve patient outcomes and reduce costs for healthcare systems. She believes that healthcare operating systems are broken and ripe for disruption with the changing incentives around value based healthcare due to rising healthcare costs.
Charlotte joined MMC from Mercia’s Series A fund where she invested in digital healthcare and life science companies amongst other sectors including enterprise software and consumer. Prior to Mercia (acquired Northern VCTs), Charlotte spent 5 years at SVB working with late stage software companies. Charlotte holds a degree in Biological sciences (Pharmacology) from Edinburgh and Masters in Finance from London Business School.
