Ameerul Miah is a Partner at MMC. As the COO, he is responsible for the daily operations of MMC, including finance, compliance, human resources and IT.
Prior to joining MMC in 2014, Ameerul was the overseas entity controller for the Ashmore Group and James Caird Asset Management. While there, Ameerul was responsible for finance, tax and regulatory reporting for both onshore and offshore entities.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operational functions, Ameerul also supervises MMC’s fund structures and manages the reporting requirements of the funds and MMC as a whole.
Ameerul qualified as an accountant with Ernst and Young and graduated from University College London with a BSc in Economics.
In his spare time, Ameerul enjoys a good competitive sudoku.
