Customers are able to request repeat prescriptions via the app. Echo handles the fulfilment of the medication orders by connecting with the users GP and existing NHS prescription order workflow. Echo can then fulfil the order via their partner pharmacy.

The app can also convert GP directions into reminders — allowing Echo to automatically prompt users when to take their medication, as well as reminding them when they’re about to run out.

In June 2019 Echo was acquired by LloydsPharmacy owner, McKesson.
