Opal secures $15.5m in Series B funding round
Founded in 2011, Opal helps businesses streamline the production of marketing and media campaigns with one central platform and framework. Its software enables complex global teams to collaborate seamlessly, plan stories visually and coordinate workflow. Over 100 large brands currently use the platform including NASA, Nike, Starbucks, Target and Airbnb. This round of funding will be used to further build out the team and strengthen the collaboration product.
Headquartered in Portland, Opal expanded to the UK and secured investment from MMC during 2014. Opal's EMEA operations are based in London.
